Q: How long have you been with Wildfire? A: Since February 2012
Q: How long have you been a Chamber Ambassador? A: Since January 1, 2013
Q: What do you like about being an ambassador? A: I like how closely ambassadors work with businesses and the community to promote the Saginaw Area. I love the ribbon cuttings and honoring the businesses that put their faith in our community by moving in or continuing to stay in the Saginaw Area.
Q: Tell us something about yourself. A: I grew up in Shelby Township and have lived in the Great Lakes Bay Area for the past 19 years. I graduated from Northwood University and have an Accredited ACH Professional Certification from NACHA. I have been in the financial industry for 26 years and thoroughly enjoy working with business owners and community organizations.
I enjoy volunteering with local charities and organizations - especially when children are involved. Nothing beats doing something special for a child! I just joined the Underground Railroad Board and am excited to work with this respected organization that provides so much good to the Saginaw community. I also am addicted to murder mysteries and Superheroes!
Q: What was your first job? A: Paper route at age 12. That's when I first discovered the value of providing great customer service - big tips!!
Q: What keeps you up at night? A: Everything! Unfortunately my mind never stops so I wake myself up a lot thinking about what needs to be done at work, at home, with family. I've sent myself numerous reminder emails in the middle of the night.
Q: What is your greatest achievement? A: My 8 year old son. I am so proud about how smart and sweet he has turned out to be!
Q: What is your most prized possession? A: A metal ring that my brother made me when I was young. He has since passed away.
Q: What is something unique in your office? A: A wind up marching band man that dances and waves his hands. It makes me smile!
Q: What is your favorite Michigan travel location? A: I don't know that I have a favorite. I love so many parts of Michigan for different reasons - it just depends on what we are hoping to experience. :)
